STORY
As a former Us Marine and police officer who serviced the 7 District area Rick realized that the community was lacking a place where residents would be able to go and get a true island experience through food and was inspired to pursue his long time dream of owning a restaurant business. Before moving to the states and serving as a Us Marine, Rick was a restaurant manager at many prestigious hotels in Jamaica and had acquired his own style to preparing Jamaican Cuisine.

Ricks Cafe was established by Rick to deliver authentic, flavorful Traditional and Fusion Jamaican cuisine to the residents of the District of Columbia and the surrounding Maryland and Virginia Areas. Once you step inside the restaurant you will instantly be taken to the tropical paradise of Jamaica, you will have a wide selection to choose from as we offer both Traditional and Fusion Jamaican Cuisine.
